Ma grande-sœur a utilisé des compléments alimentaires comme Hairfinity pour faire pousser ses cheveux. Ca a marché pendant un temps puis elle a commencé à avoir mal aux reins alors on lui a conseillé de réduire ou d'arrêter de prendre ce genre de produits. En tant que végétarienne tournée vers les produits bios, il était hors de question pour moi d'utiliser ces cachets. Ma sœur m'a dit qu'autrement, le romarin et l'huile essentielle de Bay Saint Thomas aident à la pousse des cheveux. Pendant ma dernière session shopping avant mon départ à Londres chez Aroma Zone, j'ai demandé à la vendeuse comment créer un soin avec le romarin et l'huile essentielle de Bay Saint Thomas, et elle m'a conseillé d'en faire un spray comme je le faisais il y a quelques années avec la glycérine. Voilà ma recette !

As I'm a vegetarian fond of organic etc stuff, it was no way I used those pills. So my sister told me that I could also use rosemary and Bay Saint Thomas to help my hair grow faster. So during my last shopping spree before leaving for London in Aroma Zone, I asked the sales woman how to create a treatment with rosemary and Bay Saint Thomas, and she told me to do it as a spray, as I did it a couple of years ago with glycerin. J'ai personnellement récupéré mon spray d'un produit Yves Rocher que j'avais acheté ado mais vous pouvez vous en procurer pour trois fois rien sur Aroma Zone.
My spray is a leftover from a very old Yves Rocher product I bought as a teenager but you can buy one on Aroma Zone's website.
L'hydrolat de romarin se conserve au frais. Je le laisse personnellement au frigo en permanence. Il peut aussi servir pour lutter contre l'acné et les pellicules. Il sent extrêmement bon.
You have to keep the rosemay hydrolat in the fridge. It can also be use to fight acne and dandruff. It smells incredibly good !
Comme n'importe quelle huile essentielle, l'huile essentielle Bay Saint Thomas est forte et concentrée. Ce petit flacon peut donc servir des mois ! L'odeur est forte, si elle vous dérange (personnellement elle me soulève l'estomac par moment, même si le romarin la couvre), vous pouvez la camoufler avec des arômes.
As every essentiel oil, Bay Saint Thomas' essential oil is really strong and concentrate. This small bottle can last for months ! However, the smell is srong, if it bothers you (sometimes it turns my stomach, even if the smell of rosemary covers it), you can conceal it with aroma.

Le spray est presque prêt ! Il faut juste le secouer pour mélanger les phases, puisque l'huile essentielle a tendance à rester au dessus.
The spray is almost ready ! Just a shake it a little bit in order to mix the phases, as the essential oil tends to stay on the top.
En ce moment j'ai des box braids ce qui signifie que je ne peux pas vraiment appliquer des beurres ou des huiles sur l'ensemble de mes cheveux. Ce spray est donc plus qu'adéquat car il se répand partout !
I have box braids on my head right now which means I can't really apply butters or oils on all of my hair. That spray is really helpful as it spreads everywhere !
Pour finir, je fais une coiffure protectrice afin que le produit reste bien sur le cuir chevelu.
Then I do a protective hairstyle so that it stays on my scalp.
Et voilà pour ma petite recette do it yourself homemade. Ce spray est vraiment génial. Je m'en sers également pour dégraisser un peu mes racines quand elles saturent d'huiles et de beurres. Il est efficace aussi pour redéfinir les boucles en milieu de semaine et pour redonner du volume. Et c'est un allié de choix au démêlage ! 5 en 1 !
That's it for my homemade do it yourself recipe. This spray is really awesome ! I use it also in order to remove the oil out of my roots when they saturate from oils and butters. It's also really efficient to reshape the curls in the middle of the week or to add some volume. It's your best ally as well when you have to detangle your hair ! 5-in-1 !
